Since the mid-1970's, the South Briar Barracudas Swim Team has been a fixture in our community, providing a safe and fun neighborhood summer swim team experience. While we are committed to working hard, having fun, and swimming fast, our priority is serving the community and building strong, lasting relationships with our neighbors and families.

Located in the Energy Corridor of West Houston, we are a member of the Briar Forest Swim League, and we serve South Briar, Southlake, Shadowbriar, Ashford Village, Ashford Hollow, Ashford West, and Reflections communities. We are also open to families from the surrounding communities within the area west of Dairy Ashford, south of Westheimer, east of Wilcrest and north of Buffalo Bayou, such as Stonehenge and Ashford Hills.

We extend a warm welcome to all swimmers, of all abilities, between the ages of 4 and 18. So, whether you’re returning for another season, are new to swim, want to hone your swim skills, or just looking for some summer swim fun, the South Briar Barracudas have a place for you!

Briar Forest Swim League

The Briar Forest Swim League, Inc. is a tax-exempt, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, incorporated in the state of Texas.

The league currently includes 4 teams spread across the Energy Corridor and Westchase neighborhoods. Each team serves their local communities per the league-designated boundaries. Families living outside of these boundaries are free to approach any of our teams to discuss registration options.
