Barracuda Update - Here comes Champs Weekend!

    Hey Barracudas,

We have a busy week so please keep reading for all the details!

    First things first -

Prelims and Finals Meets are OPEN on the home page. RSVP for your swimmers indicating their availability as soon as possible. Coach Juan needs to know if your swimmers will participate by no later than Tuesday morning because he's going to make meet entries on Tuesday evening. Prelims will be heated and seeded by the League on Wednesday.

Thanks for everyone who showed up to swim today. You were unable to come, please come tomorrow 8-9 a.m. to get your laps in. All monies raised this year are going to pool improvements like our backstroke poles and new starting blocks.

Money is due by Friday, June 28th. There is a lockbox on the pool fence to drop your monies in or you can give them to Lee-Ann Hall or Amy Hulsey. There are metals for those who swim the most laps and raise the most money in each age group. Everyone who raises at least $25 gets a cool, limited edition, Barracuda swim bag.

If you need a pledge form you can download one from our website here.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - Practice as usual!

Thursday - Join us Thursday afternoon for a Barracuda Pep Rally as we prepare for Champs!

We’ll meet in the Southbriar Pool parking lot at 5:00 p.m to decorate cars for the team parade. The parade will start at 5:30 p.m!

11 & Ups plan to stay after the parade for the Annual Pasta Party in the Clubhouse

    Friday - PRELIMS

Important Note: the TOP 6 QUALIFIERS plus an alternate in each event (individuals and relays) will advance to Saturday's Meet of Champs. Swimmers must check final results before leaving the meet, especially relays! All individual qualifiers and winning relay members are required to attend Meet of Champs. If you have questions about if your child qualified, please speak with Coach Juan.

    Saturday - MEET OF CHAMPS

Everyone is invited to participate in the Parade of Teams before the start of the meet, even if your swimmer did not qualify. Our awesome theme is "You’ve got a Cuda in Me"! Team members can show their Barracuda pride by dressing up, decorating a poster, making a mask, making the most noise - You Name It! Stay to cheer on our Barracudas!

    Specific timeline coming soon!

CELEBRATION: 6:00 p.m. End-of-Season Party at the Barracuda Pool. Join us for Brats, Hot Dogs, and More to celebrate a great Barracuda season. We’ll also have Double Dave’s pizza rolls, beans and potato salad, and an Ice Cream Sundae bar for dessert. Please feel free (but not obligated) to bring your family’s favorite cook-out side dish.
