In 2022, we raised funds to benefit our local firefighters of Fire Station 75 located on Dairy Ashford.

In total our 'cudas swam over 2,200 laps and raised $5,000 - we will present the funds to the firefighters so check back for the date and time!

NOTE: We are looking for a parent or team of parent volunteers to manage Swim-a-Thon in the 2023 season. If you would like to help, please contact us: [email protected]

----------------------------------------------------------------

Swim-A-Thon is our annual fundraiser where Barracuda swimmers raise money by swimming laps in the pool.

As a community-focused and supported swim team, Swim-A-Thon is a great way for the South Briar Barracudas to combine our passion for swimming with charitable fundraising, giving back to our neighborhood and community.

Swimmers collect pledges and donations in the week/s leading up to the Swim-A-Thon event - pledges can be per lap or a flat donation. We want every swimmer to participate and we encourage swimmers to set personal achievement goals for the number of laps to swim, and a minimum fundraising goal of $25.

Every pledge or donation made to the Swim-A-Thon fundraiser is utilized responsibly. A portion of the funds raised by the team is donated to a local charity or cause. The remaining funds are used to help the team continue to make a strong summer swimming program obtainable and thriving in the community.
